Cheryl Gatson
BTAA Board President

Cheryl Gatson is a passionate theatre enthusiast who sees live theatre and concerts every chance she gets. As a part-time travel agent retired from financing, she gets a real kick helping other’s tour the United States and abroad. In the last three years, she has visited Africa twice, waded in the beautiful waters of Belize, prayed in Israel and wept in Viet Nam. She has three beautiful children she loves too much and a husband who is simply wonderful.
Cheryl spent twenty-four years as a Senior Consultant and Project Manager in the Information Technology field at Sears Roebuck & Company and eight years as a Senior Specialist in the Finance Department at JP Morgan and Chase. In addition to being BTAA President, she is also the President of Moving Forward Together- a non-profit organization that focuses on health and wellness, financial literacy & workforce skills and she is a board member of Much Love Foundation, a non-profit organization that strives to prevent bullying and suicide in adolescences and teens.
The only hole after accomplishing so many of her goals in life is the absence of her brother, Vincent Williams – BTAA founder. Fueled by his essence, she counts it a blessing to now carry his dream to a new horizon.
